Shelves

This is a "leaning" bookshelf made from solid walnut.  The standards (1st pic on left) were resawn from a single piece of 2 inch thick stock.  This gives what is called "bookmatched" pieces.  When you open the two pieces like a book, they are mirror images of each other.

The shelf leans on the wall and has shelves of increasing depth from top to bottom.  It stands approximately 6 feet tall and is around 2 feet wide.
