Outdoor Wood Products

By The Halloween Guy

Make the most of your outdoor dining experience with a picnic table. But don't use it just for dining; setup art projects for the kids or organize an outdoor card game. A well-built picnic table is the perfect accessory to any backyard or cottage property. Summers are too short to spend them indoors!

Our picnic tables are available in two sizes and two types of lumber.

The premium grade table, available in 6 and 8 foot lengths, is constructed with quality ACQ treated lumber which is arsenic free, making for a safe product for both the user and the environment. All end cuts and bolt holes are treated to prevent decay. There are no screws or nails going through the top of the table or seats. Tables are finished with the best stain available here for treated wood.

Tables constructed of untreated wood come in both 6 and 8 foot lengths, with the 6 foot table available with black, powder coated, tubular steel frame. Wood frame tables are constructed in a similar fashion to treated tables, with no screws or nails on the top, and only quality hardware being used. 3 coats of Sikkens Cetol 1 stain is used on these tables.

Each and every all-wood picnic table goes through the following process:

  • Lumber is cut and then partially assembled.
  • Table is disassembled; endcuts and drill holes are treated on the ACQ tables; bottom of legs are treated on untreated tables.
  • Each board is stained on all 6 sides.
  • Tables are then assembed and kept dry to allow stain to cure for 72 hours.
